I don't know the area, but you can figure it out using google maps and cross linking with the video. The rock platform is the key. If it is where I think it is, it will only work in epic swell.

Swell wasn't epic was it? Very big but not on of those huge epic ones.

Google maps shows two potential spots in the bay. Pretty easy to work out.

I personally think keeping location quite is the go, I'd prefer to sail by myself or with a couple of guys rather than publish spots and have a crowd. With reef breaks like that you can really feel crowded with a hand full of guys out.

I rate surfing over windsurfing, when conditions are good, but crowds now really don't make it that much fun. When you get a good uncrowned day that's what it's all about.

Don't think so, Dan (or his overweight twin brother) was with me and a few others at Bundeena (Bay surf), it was surprisingly good

I did not know that Dan's brother still sailed! Is this the seldom seen brother that uses Dan's old red sails??
