Nsw wavesailing is in the process of getting all the aprovals ect. Tim Williams is the one to talk to for dates ect

Yep - Nationals look to be NSW in Feb 2011 but this is TBC. It might be better to wait for official postings from the organising team before booking flights and accomodation. Gerroa / Shoalhaven can throw up some testing conditions - I watched a vid from a fews years ago of some very high level front side side-onshore wavesailing at the Heads.

I will only be assisting some of the organisation in a very minor role this year but Warren Holder will be The Man!

Currently the NSW WA Committee team is putting together the organisation for the NSW WA season. So if anyone wants to be involved in competition level sailing (as well as a great social weekend away) come along. We have organised our events around Mambo and Nationals so that its easier to spend the summer travelling to each event.

Margaret Rive Wave comp is likely to be somewhere between 17 & 23 January 2011 and whether or not it will be the national comp is yet to be determined.

It says the Nats will be in Feb so not likely to clash if Margrets comp is in Jan...

Keen if it's at Gerroa. Also depends on the new job and if I can get timeoff.

Aiming for a week in the middle of February 2011 for the Nationals. Don't make any bookings just yet as a few docs need to get submitted to council etc. Give it a couple of weeks and there should be some firm dates shortly.

Was (Warren Holder) is overseas for a few weeks until towards the end of July. The dates sound right - but let me confirm with him. I'm just a gofer for Was who is the driving force behind the NATs.

Actually, it would be helpful to get an idea of how many entrants the Nationals is likely to get. It would be great to have some more ladies enter as well. Who's keen, there may even be an amateur division as well.

Cheers to Terry North as well for passing on vital info used for the last comp.
