surfcoast + apollo bay wavesailing

anyone sailed at apollo bay???
looking at Google earth i thing it could be okay from sw>w???

also point roadnight? looks the goods from s>ssw on big swell

fairhaven???

can anyone add any info about these areas

Correction - it is on there

Apollo Bay has a wide beach that does not get too crowded.

Easterly, South Easterly, North Easterly

[edit]Best time of year
The water is warmest from Spring to Autumn - September to March.

[edit]Local hazards
The water can get very choppy and there is surf at the beach

I'm probably heading there near the end of November for 3 days with the misus, hope to be lucky enough to score a sesh, but will be happy just to get a decent surf on my Mal if theres any about. Haven't windsurfed down there, but it looks like a nice spot from Google earth.

I have sailed Pt Roadknight once I guess it was WSW.. pretty onshore was ok. good beach to launch and not heavy surf even though it was pretty big the day i went out there. Good jumping
