torrential rain, cold squally winds, grey skies and blue fingers.

i dunno, is it just me or are the summers getting shorter/ taking longer to kick in?

I've felt summer has been starting late for a quite a while. March is usually stinking hot. They really need to start and finish summer holidays almost a month later.

That was kind of an option many years ago when we went from a 3 term year to a 4term year. Teachers got to vote on options and one was to have 1week off at Christmas and then have the long holidays in February and march. Didn't get the vote but I liked the idea. Also good to be different to other states.
Cold today but plenty of wind and the water is warm. No complaints.

Well as a new teacher I'll vote the feb-march option if I get a chance.

Lol I am glad the cold didn't scare you away this time waggle.
