I got home late but went out at Parkdale for about 45 mins at 8 pm. Slightly offshore at Parkdale, and the frequent gusts were intense - 25+. OK sailing but very bumpy ride with very short wave period. Painful going out but good on the way in, and reasonable gybing inshore. It's a good spot for solo sailing in a ESE should something break - you would soon wash up at Ricketts or Mentone.

Looks like (from what I have heard and once experienced) Flinders should be good on Sunday, with an E to SE wind to 30 knots in the arvo. I have no idea if the waves will be up but if so that will be cross to cross-offshore.

I don't think the waves will be that flash on Sunday! Surf report is for 1-2 ft. If it is 30 knots and there are waves I am up for it. Flacka, Ali what about you boys?
