Went out from Bonbeach today after being sent home due to the heat (bonus)
Took out my brand new $180.00 85lt JP(thanks Adam) With most of my sailing done at Inverloch on a 120lt excite it was always going to be a test. Steve and a couple of guys were there so I asked Steve, ''if I die could he retrive my body for my wife; he was cool with that, mannaged a couple of water-starts but gybing in the bay is a long way off. Going to make sure I get there more often and watch the other guys.
They seem a friendly bunch ,

It was good to see yourself down today at Bonno in both the NWand SW conditions. I continued sailing until 6ish when the wind died. The swell out the back was about over 3m in the end.
See you next time.

Well done Lozza.

It's all time on the water. Spend enough time on the bay and the next time you go back to Inveloch it will feel like a stroll in the park!!

(it's been said that when you can jibe on the bay in a strong southwesterly, you can jibe anywhere in the world)

Thanks Bondy, made me think about boom hieght, used to having it high and realy hanging off for more power with my bigger board and larger sails. When I hooked in today I felt too upright and got stuck in and ended up on the sail. Like you said more time on the water. Hope to rip up inverloch on the weekend.cheers lozza

Well done Lozza for getting out! I was at elwood watching guys on 3 - 4m sails and chickened out. Didn't get wet.

I know my sailing has improved heaps since sailing in the bay more often.

Might see you on the weekend!
