Jacques Kint (connewarre Cremaster) hit 40.3 knots yesterday at Swan Bay Queenscliff... Spotty came soo close but I think this is the first one over 40 knots that I can find..

Not bad for someone who has only been sailing 2 years ..Well Done!!!
taught him everything I know...

Congrats to Jacq's - awesome run. So Red if you taught him everything you know why didn't you get to 40 kts on the bay before Jacq's?

its a beautiful spot, plenty of flat water, and id imagine its clean too, seeing its proximity to the PPB heads.

Ive always wanted to give it a go but chickened out every time.

I didn't realize skimming your GT31 across the water like a pebble counted??? Nah it was a great effort , the tide was running out and the " course" was vanishing rapidly . Will be there tomorrow hope the tides are in favor . 18 knot northerly should be good esp with 37 degree temp.
