Hey Bondalucci - at san remo where you guys sail is there any current? on an "average" high tide can you stand up on the sand? Just wondering what would happen if the wind dropped out.
cheers
eddy
Be carefull at San Remo, that current rips out very quick and the bar is in the middle of the channel, so if the wind drops out it might be a long swim from Tassie. That strong current is why they have the tidal generator at New Haven. Mind you SE is really good fun and well worth the risk. Just go out on a good forcast

Thats why i havn't seen bondy this weekend he's on his way to tassie

look out for a green mistral flow.
I did sail there a couple of years ago and didn't find the current to much of an issue,
but we sent bondy out 1st to check it out. We had a great arvo on that day trying to catch the small waves on the bar while on freeride gear and 7m plus rigs

But like kato says you probably need to pick the day and sail with a mate or 2.
