Just wondering where people headed out today. Jman and I sailed at Ricketts South. It was pretty good, (5.0m, small boards) but we were amazed that we were the only 2 out. Where did the crowds head to??

Probably a dozen people out at Inverloch... think we outnumbered the Kiters. Started off on 6.5m's but changed down to a 5.5m by lunch time. Could have done with a 4.7m today. Sandbar exposed for most of the day.

Sailed at Pt Henry with 4 or 5 other guys. Wind was pretty up and down - anywhere between 10 and 20 knots but was still a good sail.

Epic day at Sandy Point!!!

Morning session in 20knots cross off wind & clean waves upto mast high in the big sets followed by afternoon freestyle session on the inlet with 4.0m sail in 30knots+ wind and dead flat water! Couldn't get a better day

I was down at Inverloch with a dozen other sailors. Ejmack slaughtered me on the gps 26kts to 21kts. I will get him next weekend though. Wife drove off with the car and gear for 1 hr so I could not change equipment when the wind turned around to the SW and consistantly blew 20 kts. Thanks to Cobby for driving into town and grabbing her.
Prize crash went to Pablo. Did a scorcher of a run then promptly cart wheeled and broke a boom and cracked a board. Before that he put his head through a sail. Good day for the equipment suppliers. I reckon they need to sponsor him.
The wife's one saving grace was she took a few photos so they should be up on the Inverloch Windsurfing Club website soon.

I wouldn't say slaughtered.... and I had a lot more time on the water! It was fun. Hope the coming weekend brings similar conditions!

The Drake fin kept spinning out on me again though. This doesn't happen with my smaller and larger (other brand) fins so I'm not so sure its all poor technique related. Think I need to replace it.

I saw the Pablo stack/head through the sail stack. Looked pretty nasty!

Portland, played around on a local reef, mucked around with sail sizes too much though, but got it right in the end!
