Sorry to jump the gun Windrider, but the question has to be asked.

Port Philip Bay
Saturday 8 September
Winds
Westerly 20 to 30 knots decreasing to 15 to 25 knots by early evening.
Seas
1 to 2 metres.
Sunday 9 September
Winds
Westerly 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots around dawn then tending northwesterly up to 10 knots around midday.
Seas
Up to 1 metre decreasing below 0.5 metres.

Central Coastal Waters
Saturday 8 September
Winds
West to southwesterly 35 to 45 knots decreasing to 30 to 40 knots around dawn and to 20 to 30 knots at night.
Seas
Up to 5 metres decreasing to 3 metres around midday then increasing to 4 metres during the afternoon.
Swell
Westerly 4 to 6 metres decreasing to 3 to 4 metres late in the evening.
Sunday 9 September
Winds
Southwesterly 20 to 30 knots tending westerly 15 to 20 knots around midday with afternoon inshore seabreezes.
Seas
Up to 2 to 3 metres, decreasing to 1 to 2 metres during the afternoon.
Swell
Southwesterly 2 to 3 metres in the east, increasing to 3 to 4 metres in the west.

Sounds insane. Might just head down to Sandy Point to see what a swell that big looks like, then chicken out in the protection of the inlet.

Thats's ok and thanks. I was flatout all day and night at work.

Myself, I'm with out a board. I will be begging for a loaner for the weekend.
