I will be mostly picking up leaves in the garden.

I may check out places in Cheltenham for brunch and potentially go mountain biking at Lysterfield.

I agree. I will be sailing Saturday afternoon from home and Sunday at the final round of the WV Course Racing Series at PYC. I think it could be a good weekend for windsurfing.

With regards to Ginger Pom, I know he use to race long boards and he was good at it. So no excuses!

Saturday 17 March
Winds Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon. Seas 0.5 to 1 metres.

Sunday 18 March
Winds South to southeast winds 10 to 15 knots freshening to 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 0.5 to 1 metres increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the afternoon.

Hey K Dog. It will probably be a last minute decision for me this weekend based on wind. Will be pretty busy with work all weekend but may be able to get out if it looks decent. Probably Elwood is the most likely choice on Saturday but not sure how the water quality is after yesterdays rain.

Had a good hour sail Bonno with some of the crew and then some beers in the deck. Only to notice the wind came back after every one had left and the wife wanted to go food shopping after our move.

Rigged a 7.7 cammed on a 124 board - Mentone beach..... putted out, and back.... then accepted my reality, the 20 knots from the Bom would not come (on saturday)....

Water was pretty clean; wind at Mentone is very cheeky.... don't trust it... white caps and a little bit of swell.... but no wind....... wind is on strong on the top of the hill, about 2 X as strong.... don't be deceived..... its the wind equivlent of a nigerian scammer......

So sat on the beach and watch the "formula board" with a 8.5m zip up and down the beach....... and once again I mentally noted the need for light wind gear

I also thought about Stephens turf dog [}:)]

Your gear would have worked at Bonno Saturday about 4ish I think.
Turfdog, maybe I should sell it as I have not used it yet and it has not been moved to the new house yet.

You should have let me know you were planning on going out.

I just missed it on saturday. Went out a touch late and just managed to see the last of the wind at around 4pm. Dont know why I waited so long.

Sunday got out at 5.45 and had some good fun in 15 kts on the SUP with a 7.5. Pribably would have been planning if I had a smaller board, but didnt have anything that was floaty enough to go out far on. The 112l is a sinker for me, and although I can uphaul it if I have to, its really touch and go. I would be so much more confortable on a 130l board in those conditions.

Yeah Cologne said you called. Next time there will be a text or phone call. Hopefully soon I will have a weather station and web cam up on the deck, so we can all see what is going on.

Sunday you should have come down to Parkdale and raced your SUP. I was on mine and it went real well against the WOD.
