Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?

IWC and RPS have the Long Board Revival event on at Inverloch Saturday.

Myself:
Saturday – if time permits I may get an early afternoon sail at Mentone, if I'm lucky with all my other duties I have one for Saturday.
Sunday – I am meeting with some reps from Parkdale Yacht Club at midday to discuss up and coming windsurfing related events and activities, then hopefully a sail at Parkdale afterwards. If you are sailing local and want to see the windsurfers racing at Parkdale, come down and have a look and a sail. Also I know some of the Bonno crew maybe heading down to the Gap.

With regards to the informal clinics on the bay, keep an eye on this post and future 'Where are you Windsurfing this Weekend' posts.

Refer to the extract from BOM forecast below for Port Philip Bay.
Local Waters Forecast for Port Phillip

Issued at 5:10 am EDT on Friday 18 March 2011

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: South to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots tending east to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots by early evening. Seas: 0.5 to 1 metres.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: Easterly mostly 15 to 20 knots. Seas: Up to 1.5 metres.

Please note; this is not a WV event and this post is to be used as information only. The intent of this post is for windsurfers to post where they could be going to windsurf this weekend and for other windsurfers to possible come and join them.

Waratah bay sunday [ The Gap] is looking good. Should be a few small waves around and not to big for a crappy wave sailor like me

You should have. Longarms was gold! Sailed for nearly 3 hours and waves were great and 4.2 metre was spot on..

yes, a great session indeed! Feeling comfortably numb now.
(although skin on hands feels a little bit alive, as they've gotten soft due to lack of sessions recently)

Oh not too far away. Had a great first time session at Long Arms then the Inlet. Small waves in oceans but breaking nicely. Loved it.

Awesome weekend at Sandy, sailed both days in the surf. Saturday had good sized solid sets Pretty small yesterday but heaps of wind, pretty sore today after nearly 9 hours of sailing, but very happy
