Hopefully it won't rain as much over the next day or so. It would be nice to get some wind around the 20 knot mark.
Myself: I'll check the forecast later tonight and then first thing Saturday morning to determine my Saturday activities. With the current forecast I might try and get a sail at Bonno with the northerly winds, but 90deg variance in the wind forecast is a bit iffy. If the wind is light in the morning I'll start Saturday off down at the Swap Meet and then hopefully get sail when the wind picks up, maybe at Greens Point or back at home ground. Sunday I'll try and get a slalom sail at Elwood in the afternoon if the forecast stays the same. Otherwise if it does go back to 25knot forecast from some form of west wind I'll head to Mount Martha or Safety beach. With regards to the informal clinics on the bay, if we don't get much rain over the next day or so and Sundays wind forecast stays the same maybe we could have an informal clinic. Keep an eye on this post and future 'Where are you Windsurfing this Weekend' posts.

anyone thinking of hitting inverloch be aware that there is a kiteboard comp running over the weekend.
Mick maybe we can get you sailing at one of local beaches for some pratice to next weekends Stern Chaser. The Bonno guys were asking me the last weekend when we were going to get you down to Bonno.

also be aware of the BRW triathlon at elwood on sun morning. Elwood to Middle Park is likely to be hectic and possibly shut down.
Beach Road, St Kilda - NBRW Corporate Triathlon Kerferd Road to St Kilda Street Sunday 20 February, 6.30am - 11.30am Road closed: Beaconsfield Parade, Jacka Boulevard, Marine Parade and Ormond Esplanade, between Kerferd Road and St Kilda Street Traffic will be diverted to Kings Way from the north and St Kilda Street from the south. Melway: 57 K9
The've just cancelled the swim leg of the BRW due to "poor" water quality. So be aware of the crud if you're planning on sailing in the area.
Geez I hope it doesn't blow on Sunday morning. Nothing worst that doing the BRW (again, for the 14th or so time) and running past my favourite spot at Pt Ormond wishing I was sailing rather than running.
I sailed at Bonbeach Saturday in the NW and then the West. A great and big day. Sunday once again on the 5m at Mount Martha and the last night at Bonbeach with the 5.3m.
This Swan Bay Saturday. Weather stations either side had winds to 45-50knots. Here most of the sailing was done on sail around 4.5. Did settle later to a steady 25-30 which was a bit more bearable.
