I got out on Sat with ejmack at Lysterfield Park Lake. Bit disappointing that the wind dropped away after hitting around 15 kts. late morning. Got a few planning runs in and tried a new smaller fin with good and bad results
What was it like on the bay Saturday and Sunday?

Didnt manage to get out Saturday but we did hit Pt Henry on Sunday afternoon. Winds were gusty W - WSW varying from 15 knots to around 25 I suppose. Maybe even the odd 30 knot gust. I managed a PB of 27 kts so I was happy but the others were doing 30's.
Overall it wasnt too bad even if I did only stay on the water for an hour or so.

Was driving by the top end of the bay on Sunday and decided to stop at a few spots along the way. Ormond looked ok with a few guys out enjoying the medium NW wind... change in direction (i think W) came through shortly after moving on so had a look in at Ricketts... few guys out having fun by the looks of it. Never sailed there myself but looked pretty good to me...keen to give it a go.
