Winds looking good this weekend.

Keen to head out and find some waves to try out, thinking that 13th Beach might be working????

Any location advice for a newbie wavesailor this weekend would be cool......

The wind does look good, but we're looking at a 7 metre swell in Bass Strait on Sat, one of the biggest in 12months. 13th will be well over mast high. Swell should be big enough to get right into Westernport, so could be some options from Pt Leo to Somers if wind is more W to WSW although winds tend to be flukier in there.

Bells - 4+ metres
South west coast - 10+ metres

Not sure about Newbie conditions anywhere this weekend!
Probably the only option for a relatively easy sail would be at 'the gap' at Warratah near Sandy pt.. swell shouldn't be too big there and the wind will probably be stronger.

Too Westerly for 13th Sat..

I think everyman and his wavesailing dog will be at Pt Impossible tomorrow..
Probably the biggest swell forecast for a few year. To say I am a little bit excited would be an understatemnet! I am already wearing my harness...
