Tonight we held the WV 2012-2013 event planning meeting.

We have a big season ahead of us, with plenty of fun events. Including the new WV Freerace series, WV Course Racing and VWS Wave series. Plus the Victorian Windsurfer of the year and the WV Kids Club.

Last Thursday night WV held our 2012-2013 events planning meeting with our event supporters. Please refer to WV event website for the currently proposed windsurfing events that includes WV. The titles, locations and dates of some of the events still need to be finalised.

Please note;
1.The WV Kids Club, our social nights and clinics still needs to be planned.
2.VWS will be on call events running from Sept-March when the conditions suit and more info will follow in regards to the VWS series
3.ESC and now PYC will have summer week night social sailing

Freerace course should be Figure 8s or downwind M courses. More info to follow.

Don't forget the Victorian Wave Series will be running again this summer of course!
For this coming season we won't have any dates locked in, instead we will have all our events 'on call' for when the conditions look good.

looking to open up the Competition window from Sept - March like we did last year..

We will also look to expand our Wave Clinic program to encourage more guys to get out and learn to wave sail. Last year we only got to run the clinic at one of our events due to weather... but fingers crossed this season will provide more opportunities for us to get you all out on the water!
