I can certainly testify to other "B graders" that last years events (I sailed at Waratah and Pt Impossible), were very good fun. And as a wave novice there was zero pressure and plently of time to sail outside the days format with other newbies.
Get into it.

Great to hear!
For next season we really want to focus on giving a lot more sailors new to waves an opportunity to come and have a sail in the waves at a spot where it’s safe, not to difficult and there will be plenty of guys around to offer a hand..
We are going to be keeping an eye on the conditions and if the wind guru’s make the call it will be good learning conditions at a safe location i.e. Sandy pt we will really try and push the point that the upcoming weekend will be a ‘beginner friendly’ day and in conjunction with one of the rounds we will have some of the more experienced guys on hand to do a quick instructional course on wavesailing in the hope to get a few more guys out there!
We want to be able to help guys out with everything they need to know from what gear to rig to how to bottom turn or even some tips for guys wanting to try their first loops etc..
Keep your eyes posted on the website & soon to be announced Facebook page!
Also working on an SMS system to get the word out when the conditions are on!!
Any more requests/comments speak up now!!
