Hello all and welcome back!

Well its that time again. The start of a new Vic Wavesailing Series for 2010/2011. This is the kick off weekend and from the forecast we may be in luck with a bit of wind and swell.

Currently there is a 20-25 knot WSW forecast for Saturday morning with some decent swell. If its going to happen this weekend, it will be down at the west coast at either point impossible or point danger (if the wind is more SW) on Saturday morning. So keep posted and lets hope we get some action this weekend.

We will send around a email on Friday to confirm whats happening this weekend.
Also keep an eye on here, http://www.vicwavesailing.org and the Facebook page to stay up to date with the latest

Wavesailors,
The windguru's have decided to not to hold the competition this weekend. The forecast is a bit sketchy and there is a high chance the wind will be light and not favourable for wavesailing down at the west coast. We have a long season in front of us with roaming events as well so we are confident we will be able to score some good conditions. We will keep everyone posted if the following weekends look favourable for a roaming event until the next fixed contest weekend.

Have a fun weekend.

Probably the only chance is WP - Pt Leo OR Torquay - Point Danger
There will be a bit of swell around, just the wind forecast looks really suss..
If you go take a surfboard because there is a fair chance there will not be much wind!

Last weekend's forecast was looking great, and ended up with no wind at all in Melb! We went to Sandy Pt and had a great wave sail on 4.7's sat morning!
Shame sandy pt doesnt work on a SW there is always more wind there..
