Turned up at St. Kilda on sunday morning to a 20-25knt SW. I was even having trouble tying down my second board to the roof of the car. But...

As soon as I hit the water the wind dived to around 10-15 knots and below. The guys on the water came in to tell us we just missed the only 10min of the morning.

Got a couple of short runs in early afternoon, but mostly got very cold for nothing.

Damn you forecast.....damn you autumn....

Red and I waited at the Lake on Sunday morning. He was the smart one and just watched me rig up. Then we just waited.... and waited.... and waited.... and then i de-rigged.
It wasnt a total loss for me though. I was extracting as much info from Red as possible. I am sure he will refuse to sail with me soon if I dont stop bugging him by asking lots of questions.
At least we got a sail in on Saturday.

I got quite a pleasant sail in late in the arvo Sunday at Black Rock on the Lorch 105 and a 7.5 Koncept . Just enough although I had to pump onto the plane a bit . It was certainly better than nothing . It,s been pretty cr.p though and nothing on the horizon , AH!!

Thought I would wander down to Lysterfield Lake this arvo. Forecast 10 - 15, Scoresby(closest weather station) on the live weather report was blowing 10 kt. Got to the Lake expecting to put up my 8.5 mt but did not get the gear off the car. Bloody mill pond. Starting to get withdrawal shakes.
