I'm not usually a superstitious person but there's definitely a relationship between new kit and no wind for a couple of weeks.

Most seasons we all buy kit sporadically throughout the season, thus ruining it for everyone....but there's an opportunity this year to make it windy all season.


If everyone in Vic buys their new (and new to them) kit next Sunday, then we have no wind for two weeks until the clocks change whereupon the season is awesome from then on.

I hope to start my annual leave on the day he said and I'm looking forward to the Spring winds we are supposed to get at this time of year.
