Looks like sailing at Lake Connewarre this weekend will be the go with the southerlies. I am going to head there around 9 - 9.30 Saturday morning at this stage.
Anyone else feel like having a toe-numbing, cramp-inducing, gonad shrinking sail? They are forecasting a few showers and a max. of about 14 so it should be fun

p.s. if you havent sailed there b4, bring a weed fin

Weedfin??? We used to sail there back in the mid 90's and all it had was mud. You mean to say carbon based life forms can exist in that place now??

Wonders never cease...

Mud?..Mud?... I wouldn't call it mud .. more like a fine silky silt that massages your toes!!

Pat.. See you at the lake in the morning.. Got to be at work at 1pm so early start hopefully.

Well that was a bit of a non event
Wind was still WSW at around 10 - 13 knots, so we (Red and myself) headed to Pt Henry. I rigged the 8.5 on the Go and had a little play but only managed to get a few runs in before the cold got to me and cramped my hands making it near impossible to hang on.
And before you say anything Red, I know.... its a bit of a pi$$ weak excuse
The wind has finally swung to the south so maybe tomorrow will be better

Sorry to hear OB64!

Great day at Inverloch (if I take away the gear breakage). 15-16knot SW. Flat as. One other sailboarder and a few kiters just as I packed up.

On the downside, cracked my near new NP boom, and almost lost a fin. But great to be out after 4 or so weeks of no sailing.
