There are so many dudes who have been out windsurfing, sailing and kiting all week around the bay. if jaws was around i think he would of shown up by now
My brother on sunday swam all the way in from way out in the bay with half of sail board after breaking his board doing a jump. He told me later he has no fear of sharks now![]()
He said it was big, around 4 metres but not a Great White, most likely a bronze whaler.
Well.. I saw it today at Sandringham... but it wasn't a shark, it was a 4 metre jelly....
We were there the evening after it happened and talked to the owners of the cafe we normally go to. They said that this "missing" thing is well known to the trade people of the bay as "shark".
Of course, it's conjecture and we'll never know, but does make me think twice about getting my quad (sorry, wrong forum guys and gals) out tomorrow when the SW hits late afternoon and having a play - yes, there may be more chance of being in a plane crash than getting taken by a giant eating minibus, but it does make you think twice...... I mean f***!! ![]()
So, basically a big freak'n noah has eaten some poor bastard on door step of some very popular beaches in the middle of summer and the media are not saying boo about it? ![]()

Well it's not the guy but this pours tepid water on the conspiracists's theories of a coverup....
terrible result. 3 weeks floating and still not taken by The shark. Got to give you a little hope waterstarting.
Looks like we will have to get our gybes sorted by the time the wind returns ![]()
