Pretty wild at Right Point. There was one fella out on what looked like a 3.7m and very powered out the back. He was doing very well given the conditions. It is not often you can say you feel inadequate coz you dont have something small enough! (I didn't have a small enough sail).

Was about 4-5ft but too full at high tide. Went to Flynns to get a clean wind reading....around 30 gusting above 35. Also normally have a add a few knots to my meter. When it says gusting 25 I am on a 4.2.

Yes thanks for the camera work Nic. I was on the green sail. Had a fun session and it was nice to be powered on my new 4.2m, as I've never sailed a sail that small. Perfect conditions for me as a fairly new wave rider, really consistent wave and I didn't take out a fin which is always a bonus.

Lee, for you to be powered on a 4.2 it must have been crazy windy!

There were a lot of wind holes near shore but when the wind hit, it was pretty full on. I probably should have been on a 4.7 to avoid the constant lulls but still a good sail choice.
