Curious if there was much wind down there today (Saturday)?

Looks like there was a fairly strong noreaster down that way today, not a bad direction to sail at SP.

Cheers Jman! Am thinking of heading down tomorrow as the forecast still sounds ok for that area...... just a bit decieving as there was no wind at all around Melbourne today.

Hey Ej,
Inverloch had 10kts NE, peaking at 12kts but quite pleasant anyway....looks like there might be a bit more around tomorrow

Finally back on the water...didn't care that there was bugger all breeze, it felt great to hear that swish of the board under foot.....got a whole 9.5 kts in 11 kts of wind but I suspect the tide was at least 3!

You probably dont want to know that I got out on Saturday... sailed a 5.4m... fully powered.

ahh - that would be a 20-25kn easterly... at the PiT... front-beach surf sailing! (well 1ft swelll...)
