Few pics and vids from Sandy.... awesome day.... blustery wind filled with rain lashing down.... stoic weather First time down there and the wind didn't disappoint. Have to say it was the trickiest chop down towards the ocean side of the strip - really steep and short distance between sections....

Great vibe down there with heaps of smiles from kiters and wsurfers alike.

Are there seals at Sandy Point?

I swear I saw a little head pop up for a moment and took off..... if its not a seal its possible an Undine....

James also saw something's flippers as it went under.....

Great to hear it was your first time! I haven't been there much in the last decade, but have fond memories from the 80's and 90's.

Yeah Peter that KA sailor was pretty good too. Pull a massive air coming across to the beach at one point. And another guy doing freestyle down there popping some nice moves.

Andrew - well worth getting down there again. The place feels like a lost world... cool dunes.... feels nice and remote....
