Jessica Crisp, as Steve mentioned, is argueably the greatest female windsurfer of all time.We spoke to her coach and Australia's Olympic windsurfing coach Brendan Todd today and he ecoed those setiments. Here's a list of her most notable achievements, which include 4 Olympic games and 12 world titles!!

LA, SYDNEY,ATHENS, CHINA and London?(selection events being Sail Melbourne and Perth Worlds next month)

12 World titles including; PWA Slalom and wave World Champion!
3x Windsurfer Class world champ
Mistral World Champ
Womens Worlds Champ
and the list goes on...

Most importantly, Jess has been a fantastic ambassador for Australian windsurfing and continues to give her time as a youth developement coach.

So come on down to Hampton Life Saving Club at 10am Saturday morning and listen in to Jess helping to inspire the next generation of young windsurfers at Sail Melbourne Family Day.

See you on the water!

Hi Steve you have just grabed the last RS:One. Be at the WV marquee near the Hamptom Life Saving Club at 10am.

The beginner clinic will be hosted from the WV marquee and the lessons towards the cafe.

What a great looking day.
Why don't you bring your family down to a couple of Windsurfing Victoria's development programs. Where you can enter your kids into the Sail Melbourne Family Day for some beginner windsurfing lessons plus other other fun actitives. Watch or join in to the demonstration of the Pathway to Olympics program that WV is helping develop, with the RS:One demo races.

Plus meet some Olympic sailors from 10am.

See you there.

What a day. Another weekend with heaps of kids, teenages and adults learning how to windsurf. The presentation from Jessica Crisp and a number of world windsurfing Olympians was great.
The RS:One demo race turned in to another come and try event, with over a dozen people trying out this new class of gear. Spotty maybe still out there hooting around in the wind enjoying himself.

Thanks to all the WV helpers, SHQ and SBHQ for today and thanks to all that came along.

More photos will follow soon.

Thanks for a great day guys. Took my young son and his mate down. They tried SUPs, sailing and windsurfing. ("Windsurfing was the best")
Have to say the number of instructors provided by Windsurfing Victoria was very impressive and with a rubber duck backing up, the kids had an awesome time. So many people gave it a go! Well done guys.

What an awesome day!

Must have had all the gear out on the water at one stage with kids making up the bulk of the classes.

Even finally got to go on those RS-One monsters. Man they are great fun, and fast! Cant wait to get my hands on one again. Maybe I'll get into racing...
