Caravan Park booked, two sites this year !
Plan is to take everything and have fun
Quite right. That is my plan too!
That's the spirit and what it's all about - we're planning on making this year's event the most fun ever.
SHQ feels that our best opportunity to contribute to the sport is to help people to learn and progress their sailing and then put that into practice with some fun challenges and events. We'll have some of the best sailors in the country there to give you clinics on all aspects of windsurfing, from Gybing to freestyle to wavesailing plus national SUP experts to talk SUP technique in the waves and on the flat.
pre register now to win a share in $500 of SHQ gift vouchers: make sure you're at the spit roast to claim for prize
http://eepurl.com/bDNiyH For those that are concerned that there's no racing don't fear - this year we'll be introducing the inaugural "SHQ Melbourne Cup" - a 3200m race (as per the Melbourne Cup) and for the SUPers there will be the "SHQ Melbourne SUP" - pre register and stay tuned for further details.
The official schedule will be released on Thursday but the key things to note this year are that the events are FREE!!!!
The spit roast is only $15per person which is a bargain for the spread the Jono puts on and includes an entry into the prize draw.
So the more the merrier come on down for a SUP and Windsurf carnival to remember!
See you Saturday
