Well it went off with a bang again. On the 12/13th Jan Inverlcoh Windsurfing Club hosted the JP Australia and Neil Pryde Windsurfing Trailer. Due to the event attracting over 150 attendances in previous years the Club took the decision to keep the event smaller and open it up for Club members, friends and family only. We had 83 registrants over the two days with another 30 tyre kickers/peanut gallery checking out all the great toys for us to play with.

Big thanks to SHQ for this experience - it was great to see everyone debating the plus's and minus's of the gear and comparing it to their own. With a few ready to open their wallets. Tim from SHQ was a champion dealing with the throngs of windsurfers with their questions and trusting us as the trailer was emptied and quite a few times guys/girls lining up to use equipment as it was all out on the water. It was also great to see Tim crack out a few freestyle moves at the end of each day as the wind came up. I really want to see the Inverloch Freestyle Demonstration take place one day soon guys.

Coaches Kato, Mick, Dan, Simmo, Col, Ernie, Antoine, Roy and our junior coaches Josh, Joel and James worked a treat. Big effort guys to teach 40 plus beginners from 10 - 4pm Sat/Sunday. Those that worked tirelessly behind the scenes Tash, Shaz, Cara, Ian, Geoff and Robbie big effort and big thanks. I am sorry if I have forgotten anyone.

My highlight was the end of day 2 when 2 blue eyed blonde twins came up and asked for a lesson. Much jostling amongst the coaches but Kato won out. Caused a comotion on the beach as photographers popped out of the bushes to get pics of these photogenic girls. In no time Kato had them going but you could see him melting like butter as he laid down in the shallows talking with these beauties about the skills of windsurfing. At the end of the lesson their mother came up and thanked us all for teaching her 6 year old twins
