Hi all... Looking at getting the gear out of the car and onto the roof. The fam wants to come to the beach. Good for long road trips too.
Does any one know anything about the prolimit session bag? I need boom sails and masts in it and would like to know if the bag has strap tunnels so I don't crush the sail, also for ease of use. An other option could be the Neil pride all in one?? Not sure? Any help would be fantastic.

Hey mate, I have the Prolimit bag. It's super handy for keeping everything together and I don't think your sails will get crushed if you pack it properly.

Downside is that it's heavy as a mutha****** when there's gear in it, and it's a bit of a fiddle to whip stuff in and out whilst on the roof.

Upside is that it's very cool to have all your gear tucked into one bag and one person at each end is easy to get it on and off the roof. If you only need to get your gear to and from destination (i.e. holiday house / campsite) then be able to use the car in between, it would be a good option.

Cool thanks for that. Does the bag have pockets for the straps to go through to be able to use roof racks.

it has webbing along both sides with loops to put straps through to stop it sliding back/forward. i have always run my straps all the way over the top rather than trying to just rely on the webbing - perhaps that's incorrect!

we used it to lug gear to WA on the plane once too. poor girl at checkin nearly feinted.
