Great session for those of us lucky enough to get out last Friday (20 December), a solid 30 knots SSW punched through around 3pm for some epic bump and jump. A lot of grins in the car park afterwards.
Standouts were Hock with some serious height into his forwards and backies with some quality Pozo inspired wave rides thrown in.
Duncan gets the Kamikaze award for for his no holds barred forwards and the bail of the season with Irish Paul a close second for his suicidal backie attempts.
ZU boys Andy and Zak were firing too with Andy leading the freestyle wave charge with more flips and twists than I can name and Zak nailing some quality forwards and backies
SHQ's Al McLeod caught the tail end of the session and showed some real form.
Even the freeride boys rose to the occasion throwing caution the wind and had a crack at the ramps on offer.
King of the Bay should be a corker with the right conditions with the level of sailing in the bay definitely on the rise.
Took a 20 minute break to take some video of the event, hope you enjoy it.
