Another epic Pookipa session. No sign of the usual sea breezes but who's complaining! Some Pozo inspired wave riding and more air than you can poke a stick at with Joel pushing the boundaries with one of the biggest backies ever witnessed at Pookipa, shame I was sailing at the time.

Andy Ackland manned the camera so I could make a cameo, might be some glory hunting on my part in it . The guy in the white helmet is the stand out for sure!!

Early next week could see some proper sea-breezes. Now I have jinxed it!!!!

Chance of next edition of Pookipa Gold tomorrow evening, if thunderstorms stay away!

Forecast: "...southwesterly change of 20 to 30 knots during the early evening, with stronger squalls likely near the change"

MetEye saying change wont hit eastern side of bay till around 7:30-8:00pm

I'll be there. Can't wait for some wind!!!
