Even though I live in Bayside (Brighton down to Beaumaris) and get a permit, I reckon this idea to charge people to park on Beach Rd sux big jobbies. Pay to park on a public road (where congestion is generally not a problem) and go to the beach - its un-orrr-strayan. And it will surely pee off the residents of the nearby sidestreets too.
Of course I could be wrong... whadda youse think?
