Is it normal for there to be no wind this time of year? If so, when does it normally start to come back?

very normal. can stretch to months without wind on the weekend. quite depressing.

I missed out on another good day yesterday my mate sailed overpowerd at Green Point with 5.5 in the morning while I was at work and looking at the forcast the weekend is looking crap again Hope this winter is not heading down the same track as last winter with the weekends missing the action Anyway one more post closer to 100

I always feel like its bad karma having a sickie to go for a sail, did it once some years ago and got a speeding fine Had a good sail though

WOOO HOOOO! FINALLY A DECENT SESH!!!

Got out on thursday and friday...
On thursday, first time out at green point, sailing with some top sailors... And tried my first loop! and nearly landed it! cant wait to try again!!!!

And on friday, went out first time at dendy st, pretty average, hit the reef but was fine! good fun just blasting around!!!

FINALLY!!! YAY!

Hey sflack you really shouldn't post about your good session at gp because I havn't been on the water for about a month and then you go on about trying loops WTF sailing since oct 07, well done

Due to wife I am going to Geelong on Sunday and she has given me permission to take the gear. Have been out for 6 weeks, so Point Henry or the lake here I come

I will be out as well hopefully so keep an eye out for a white Commodore ute with boards strapped to the top or if I am already out, look for the guy who spends more time in the water than on it

I'd be interested to know how you go/find it as I've been meaning to go down that way for a while now. Am hoping to make it down to Inverloch on the weekend though.
