Hi guys, Just bought a 06 jp excite 120lt from SHQ $1079.
Bit rough around the edges but no water in. small repair to nose.
I`m 75kg and strugling to gybe my 105lt so I`ve swallowed my pride and gone bigger. Mick I know you will be happy as I`ll stop asking to sail yours.

Two questions, Did I get scewed and what wind range could I get up to.

cheers Lozza

Good on ya mate! Good to hear!

Nah mate $1079 is a brilliant price!

wind range for a 120 ltr is probably 15kts to 22kts wack in a smaller fin and you could probably go 25kts but it would be a bit to hairy!

Well done Lozza. The Xcite rides are a great board. Looking forward to sailing with you on it. Flacky is on the money with the wind range but I think it can take up to a 9 mtr sail so you should be planing in 12 kts plus.

Hey lozza, how crazy was sandy point yesterday? hey, you know when ya left the other side filled up more and made a perfect speed strip. I must of hit 30 knots easy at 8 o'clock at night. It was a much better relief to be windsurfing smooth water, after sailing the steep nasty chop over at the main area of the pit.

How did ya go with ya foot straps?

Got in the back finaily after a few offs. Had a hard time keeping the board down.
Balls of my feet are $@#! sore
I`ve noticed some hairline cracks in the gelcoat on my rail. Try and fix today, spewing I`ve only had it one day.

cheers Laurie
see you on the water

Grat on the board Lozza. Shops always sell second hand gear for more but Xcites tend to hold their price quite well so I think you did ok.

Good sailing!
