More Gear arrived today, sailing on 4:5 and two or three sessions at Sprecks,
Some sailing images from today should be up tomorrow,

Doing the same thing in 5 weeks - can't bloody wait !

The plan went well today, Richard, James and I sailed at Hookipa after 11:00am wind 20 - 25 knots, waves not too large.

At Hookipa Casey Hauser from the Matt Pritchard team was a great support and led James and Richard out into the surf,

I was very apprehensive and would walk to the waters edge and wait and then walk back.

This went on three or four times.

After making a decision to go, I walked into the water and placed my feet on the board and sailed.

It worked. Casey came back to the beach and provided motivation talking to me as we pushed out back.

I sailed out beyond the rocks through the waves and out the back, turned and sailed in on a large swell.

After sailing and surfing the breaking swell towards the shore I turned right and made a quick exit out the back again. it worked again.

This went on for about 25 minutes.

Deciding to come into shore I was supported by Casey and I landed right where I started.
