Looks promising, wish we had some Port Phillip way.

With all the crazy weather happening around the world you would hope our crappy Autumns might change.

It's just that we've missed out on all the good winds you guys have been getting over the last month or so...I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!

You're more than welcome to come for a drive over easter - we'll share some with you!

Pt Fairy - 15mins the other side of Warrnambool should be great for waves with that wind direction! We're planning on heading to Cape Bridgewater on 1 or 2 of the days - about 90mins west of Warrnambool, mainly because it's only a 20min drive & gives you the option of wave size, depending on where you launch from - I'm stilll a newby to waves.

Cool, after posting the above I saw an earlier thread in Vic Windsurfing - "wavesailing Warrnambool" where you mention Pt Fairy.

What is the best site to use for forecast in that area (wind and surf), and possibly current observations? Is there a webcam ? I am definately keen to do an over nighter there over the 4 day weekend.

Would love to do a windsurf tour that way one day, hard to find the time though. I remember doing a slow trip to Adelaide along the coast about 10 years ago. Stayed at Pt. Fairy, it's a really pretty place.

Don't know the best, now that seabreeze has Portland on its list, I generally don't stray too far from that one.

try-
www.windfinder.com/forecast/port_fairy?utm_source=www.windfinder.com&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=redirect

but another 40mins west-
www.windfinder.com/forecast/cape_nelson_bridgewater_bay

not sure what's going on with the graphs?
