Drift has a tried and a true measure of wind forecasting involving a seagull and a piece of ALfoil. Based on this we are preceeding with the LOngboard day at the Anderson Inlet Angling Club Inverloch on this Sunday 9.00am start. If you have a looooong board bring it along, if not and you want to get a taste of cruising come and try one of the test boards thanks to Windgenuity. The organising committee has a range of fun filled activities to get involved in and there will be prizes to give away thanks to RPS.

Best way to organise a gale is to hold a longboard day. For the sake of all Victorian Windsurfers we will be turning up to Inverloch with longboards for a 9am start - just to ensure that the front hits and everyone gets their 4m sails wet.

It does appear much more effective than the usual methods of leaving your harness at home or rigging your largest sail in the morning.
It will still be raining on Tuesday.

Grat day, although not quite ideal conditions - Westerly gusting to 30knots. Here are a few pics, more on website www.whitecapsphotography.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=8720535
