Saw Mick(distinctive figure) and friend out on sunday in the channels, big sails and boards, at least they were getting wet, did anybody get out and join them? Thought they were heading for Stanley at one stage. it would have been hard dodging the sand banks with the colour of the water looking more like Guiness _I've broken fins, and finboxes in those conditions before.Sadly, we were'nt able to join them, we could only stand and envy the invy stalwarts...next time!

Should have joined us mobi!
Wind was ok out towards Point Smythe and there was a nice swell running down the middle bar.

The water was a lovely poo brown colour- which hid all sorts of goodies (like a giant log that I hit and put my head through the sail, or the hidden sandbank which took out Frank's knee)

I didnt sail, went for a SUP instead, thought about chucking up a 5.3 for a SUP wavesail and when i was out there wished i had of. There's some fun new banks out in the entrance now. There's been some blokes out surfing a new left that's about an 8-900m paddle from the beach. On the big SW swells with light NW winds its been cranking- Goofy foot heaven, I havent sussed it out yet.

Gippsland Ports released a notice to all mariners for Anderson Inlet last week advising boaties that the entrance is shoaling. Not good for boaties = great for surfing, SUPs & wavesailing

Guilty as charged Mobi. I was giving some lessons on the beach for a while but managed to get out on the board later on. Gotta love those NorthSoutherly winds. Was heading back into shore, got back-winded and slammed into the water, only to waterstart back onto the board straight away.
