cool pic, son, sounds like you guys had all the fun while i was trying to windsurf at rye with a hudred kiters flying around me and crapy wind. I hate rye i dont want to sail there again, maybe ever. The place is really ticking me off. The wind up near the city is so much better. Wish i joined you guys today, dam not fair

There were that many kiters at rye that when the shark plane went over i think they were abit stunned they flew real slow over us.

Nah man! Rye is good on a howling northerly! sometimes you just get a little bit unlucky!

Rye is awesome when its on!

Hey WW, you should have hung around until the change came through at about 4pm. 30-35kts and bumpy and lumpy as anything at Dromana. Worth the wait even if the northerly was crap on the Peninsula.

Sadly, while I was out there having the time of my life, others were losing theirs.

yep, 30-35kt cross-shore at Merricks Beach was pretty good. Westernport threw up some nice steep chop whilst pretty flat inside at Merricks.
