Looking at getting out Tuesday somewhere around Port Phillip Bay. Where to go?
Hey Jman where would you suggest/ are you heading out?

Yeah mate, if there's wind I'll be heading out as I am on leave. Don't know about the wind though as BOM's forecast is different to the one on here. I'll probs be at either Keast or Ricketts depending on direction.

hi salty, unfortunately i got to head back to qld tuesday morning but hopefully catch up with you next time i get down again. love coming back down here to windsurf hasn't let me down yet

Keast Park is almost at Seaford.

Looks like Ricketts might be the go if it is westerly, have to wait and see

Low tide at the heads looks like 8:40 am on tuesday at 0.57m with high at 14:30 at 1.16m.
Could you still drive out on this high tide? (¬ getting your car swamped?)

what is the approx time for the corresponding low tide at sandy pt on the inlet (ie +15minutes like warratah bay?).

Add 1.5 hrs to the warratah value, ie: we have hight tide at about 4pm. as opposed to 2.30. Its a low-high and given that the whether has been quite stable recently, I think high-tide will be drive-able (just).

Wind looks like it will be strong from about lunch time.
