I'm not sure about this but seabreeze and all the bom models are saying less than 30 knots.

The extra ten knots (30 to 40) on the bom forecast must be some of the 'local' interpretation... be interesting to see whether it materialises

It came ginger pom, (2pm at Greenpoint) but did you hang around long enough to get out on that small board of yours?

I left at 2pm. Was too tired by then. Remember I went out first while you boys all drank tea in the car park....

Was out at Pt Henry today and in the lulls it was around 25 knots but had to be gusting to around 35! The Pt Wilson chart is showing gusts of over 35.

Ginger,

I was one of the turncoats that went to Rye (I counted 41 cars in the first car park) but I'm willing to return to GP later this week to partake of the forecast good winds.

Will you be sailing and if so, how will I recognise you? javascript:insertsmilie('')

Yeah it's a shame Jodi, you missed some great photo opportunities. Some of those SHQ sailors were doing some nice moves with the sunset in the background. I just wish I had of gotten a photo when everyone hit the water when the wind came in. The windsurfing highway almost required traffic police.

Well the forecast looks promising, I might get a couple more nice sails in for my last week of Uni. holidays.

Teachers are back to work tomorrow Le. Enjoy the uni hols while you can. Should have a few less sailors mid week so can enjoy the premium parking spots down at Rye.

Hehe thanks Bill. Won't be long before I'm doing my big placement at my school. Just hope the wind is terrible then.
