Yuppy did you see the recent post regarding Sup sailing.

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/General/The-Long-and-the-SUP-of-it/

Also windsurf magazine has an article about SUP sailing in it this month. I am in a similar situation would like to do some more SUP sailing. I already have a all wave 9'6" sup but don't find it particularly fun to sail on but I think it is probably more to do with picking the right location for it with waves further out and not shore break. My brother has the pro wave ltd as well and it is interesting that Ibid thinks that is a much better SUP sailing board. However the pro wave is pretty light and won't like the mast being pushed into the rail should one fall in the surf. The other board I have thought about is AHD sealion which is meant to have more of a windsurf rocker. I was looking at the 8'3" at around 134 litres, but it seems hard to purchase at present. Sunshine coast boards can't get in contact with the distributor in France at the moment. The Prowave is an excellent SUP board however and surfs like a shortboard which is kind of handy in the crowed breaks around Sydney. The all wave I have to give people a lot more room with but has been an excellent first board. Maybe think about a Prowave in HRS construction or a Sealion. Also I was thinking about the wave comps and how many people would be bringing their SUP's to them as a light wind backup and see them in action there.
