Evening All,

Any recommendations for best place to have repairs done in Melbourne ?
Doesn't have to be the cheapest just someone who knows what they are doing, doesn't mind sailboard sails and won't take 6 months to do the job .

Look forward to any advice,

I know it's early but will Speed fortnight run last week of Vic school holidays and a week after that? Just have to organize leave at work .

Cheers ,

Ant

Hello DB,

Try Horizon Sails in Sandringham, through this link: http://www.yellowpages.com.au/search/listings?clue=horizon+sails&locationClue=sandringham%2C+vic&x=48&y=11. You might give them a ring to confirm the following AND that they are back at work.

Would suggest that the sail be clean and dry and that it be delivered to them by Tuesday AM. I understand that they actually begin repairs to windsurf sails on a Wednesday with most repairs completed by Friday PM, depending on the previous damage.

Hope this helps.

Irwin sails, 32 Keith St, Hampton East, 9555 7328.
Tell him Andrew sent you (I'm across the road...); he's done a great job on all my sails and relatively cheap.
Lindsay is a former 14ft skiff world champion, and an ex-windsurfer.

The 1st to the 15th is about right. The tides look the best for the first week and the wind is the best for.....??????

I can second Irwin Sails. Lindsay did a great job on all my repairs, quick turn around and value for money.

+1 Irwin sails. Sail loft out back in his garage. Sews straight!
