Hey Guys,

We have a few kids learning to windsurf at our club, and have just trashed a few old monofilm sails in recent weeks.

So we are wondering if anyone out there has any old dacron, or old strong wave sails, in the 2.5 - 6.0 ish range.

Any help would be good, we just need to get these kids on the water!!

Matth,

I've got a few old sails out in the trusses (been meaning to turf them). I'll have a look tomorrow and let you know their condition and sizes, I think they're dacron they're 20-25yo! I'm heading to Geelong in a week and can get them that far.

I also have a suitable sail for learning. 5.8m semi-soft (i.e a couple of 1/2 length batterns) that make it easy for up hauling etc.

How do I get it to you? I live in the peninsula.

Hey Sam,

Where abouts on the peninsula are you? Im in Chelsea, and we all sail out of Mordialloc. 5.8 sounds like it could be good for the kids.

Drift,

Where are located? They do also need a boom or two and an extension!

Sam,
Give me the sail and I will drop them down at Mordi when I next go Laser sailing. I will not be at the club this week as it is the masters at Mount Martha, but I will be there next week + I am also going down to the club on friday, so if we sail tomorrow or Thursday you can hand them over.
