Synoptic Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight will move over Victoria later today
and will remain in the vicinity during Sunday and Monday, before moving over the
Tasman Sea on Tuesday.

Strong wind warning for Victorian waters between Portland and Wilsons Promontory
Saturday until midnight: Winds: West to southwesterly 5 to 10 knots. Seas: Below
1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 1.5 to 3 metres.
Sunday: Winds: Southwesterly 5 to 10 knots. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell:
Southwesterly 1.5 to 3 metres.
Monday: Winds: Light winds tending east to southeasterly up to 10 knots during
the evening. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: Southwesterly 1 to 2 metres.

Seems odd... have forwarded to a couple of forecasters, but dont know if they are on shift.

One was issued Friday. Bom crew maybe had a big night Friday and forgot to to the sel + del.

Went fishing yest'y (off Portland)...the wind was between 3-5kts, but I reckon they could add a zero on to those swell readings! Land...no land...land...no land! From bottom of the swell to the top, about 10+m.
