A colleague of mine is writing up a story about a storm that passed over Port Phillip bay/Melbourne, which he believes from media reports occurred during a windsurfing race from Mentone to Mt Martha in January 1984. Anyone here remember and/or compete in the race??

I certainly don't... but then i was just a 15 year old wrangling a HiFly 500 and Wind Series (with head battens) sail at that stage.

This race came up in conversation a couple of weeks ago. Phil Trigger competed in that race.
