Hey guys,

I check seabreeze all the time to see what you experienced guys think of the wind and conditions, but I figured it's about time to post something. I'm pretty new to the sport but love it, trying to get out as much as I can. I think I'll check out Cremorne this arvo and I'm thinking I might head up to Marion Bay for the first time tomorrow.

If you see me around with the white Forester or the big JP x-cite, say hi and/or tell me what I'm doing wrong, keen to get some advice from the pro's. Good luck this weekend!

Andy

Andy if you want good advice keep away from the Lauderdale boys they're not good news and very likely to lead you astray. Me on the other hand would be delighted to lend you a hand and give you some proffessional sailing tips. The first tip is to put a carton of beer in the back of the Forester......after that I can't help you......................oh I forgot buy some long harness lines

Hi AndyL, welcome to the forum.
Great place to keep in contact and ensure you are in the right spot for a sail ( well most of the time anyway).
A lot of guys will be heading down to Marion today, sailing front beach and the lagoon. The lagoon is a brilliant spot for beginners/intermediates to hone their skills, providing flat water for gps and speed as well.
Also waves for bump and jump out the front beach.
Keep an eye on the forum as guys often post from down there letting you what live conditions are.

Falls starts on the 29th

There is no swell at Goats, so going to head to Marion. There is already wind down there.

Nathan, we usually travel round boomer bay road and launch at the cemetry. sail across.
old road stops half way along and you can walk over dunes or sail round.
cheers

On the Marine forecast map the wind looks a bit whimpy at Marion this arvo and going more northerly. More wind at Lauderdale front beach this arvo. Ho hum.....decisions.
EDIT depends which website you look at.

Sandpits looked pretty good cross shore with a small swell. Wave riding and jumps

Carlton may be good for cross on bumping; would be good to get a report from down that way.
