Southern GPS team members. There might be enough wind round tomorrow to try for a 1 hour/NM and distance off Cremorne in Frederick Henry. Forecast to be 15-20, I susspect it may be closer to the 20, hopefully.
Marion on the inside was sunny windy pleasant and anyone who has yet to venture down don't be daunted by the name or the distance. Only 45 mins from town, flat water, can't get into trouble cos it's so shal low, bit like Cremorne lagoon except bigger and .....very scenic... swans, pelicans Great spot for beginers, blasting, speed and freestyle
Wally showing off his not quiet so normal freestyle talent....driving his car from the roof.....you'd think he had more sense, immature b$%%##$
I was sailing along over the other side of the bay in the shallow green sea grass bit and this fin flapping around on the surface caught my eye, I hoping it was a sting ray feeding.
That's a good looking spot. The water looks like it is really smooth for blasting. Bit closer for me as well. Keep up the good work of posting where you are going so that some of us out of towners can join you. Bummer at home, still no fin for large board and smaller board needs repair, both out of the water at present.
Iceman, it's about time came up your way, with all this easterly weather coming you'll be blown off the water. Heard you were considering getting a GPS or is that just a vicious rumour
Well one board is fixed so at least I can get out now. First spare day will be Saturday and it don't look so good. As for a GPS, no no-one has mentioned it that I can recall.
Probably just as well you sail St Helens on your own Iceman. For those of you that didn't venture to Stanley the other weekend you wouldn't have heard that Iceman is the only sailor ever to have his fin ripped off his board twice in 30 mins. We last saw a white pointer with 3 dorsal fins limping into the sunset
