where are the Hobart locals sailing in this 20knot SSE this afternoon

boys sailed Clifton today, and, Tea leefed, Cremorne lagoon 15, 20
Tomorrow ,saturday,sun, mon, will be similar winds, between 10 , and 18.7 .knots.
At a good starting point ,2.30 3.00 pm will be the time to start rigging
Clifton needs a good wind to sail , worth a check .
If not, the pond, Cremorne ,will get you sailling with a 5.7 flat water.
Just about the only sailling, in this wind , on the eastern shore.
The seebreeze is getting slack, just about blown out.
Hope you get a sail.

thanks for the concise report....yes missed that opportunity....and after reading the ironic heart rending story posted on sb, about the windsurfing Lion......opted for a gold class viewing of said flick.....whereby the tissues were put to good use......and well, being in the city where the history of he occured......it seemed appropriately respectful......
SB preds for the next block of days aren't looking too promising, but will take tour of the local spots tmo after swmbos mission to Mona early.....
However there may be a better obs later next week after mish to Bruny........before the following week heading north to visit the Low Head tribal sailing grounds......
must say though there is good food to fuel up on in this city :)

will try and time our visit for at least sat 18/3... as ferry 19/3... however looking at Pilot station as possible base during that week if not fully booked... damn time is moving too fast ...need more ...to explore... hoping for high wind at Low Head

Goats today next beach down past cliffton about 2.00 pm onwards should be ok today.
