Hi Guys,

Went out to 3 mile at Gnarloo, winds were offshore, no one sailing only good for surfing, did not look as scarey as I thought it might, any how only had limited time went to Gnarloo station and bay also Red Bluff, awesome surfing.

Kalbarri another great spot, Jakes point surfing was sick, guys doing tow ins on a 3 metre plus swell, I saw some guy packing up sailing gear at the entrance to Kalbarri Harbour, don't know if he sailed it or not but that was scarey, cross currents everywhere exposed reef and rooster tails jacking up at least 4 m metres into the air. Jane loves the place wants to move up there

Now in Geraldton for five to six days, sailed Sunset Beach in a NW 30 knots that was pretty good nice reef out the back with smooth water and reasonably tame waves, then sailed a place called St Georges beach a little further down south from Sunset when the the SW front came through at about 20 to 25 knots smooth water on the inside with waves on the reef, there has been a shark(s) hanging around the the beaches so the locals are a bit antsy might be the same one that munched that guy at Red Bluff

Would like to sail Coronation looks to be an awesome place, just have to see if I can luck it in with wind.

Gnarloo is now turning it on and guys are heading up their, no more wind in Gerro for the next couple days, its back to a surfing pattern.

Only have another 4 weeks to get back home, time is running out.

Hey Rob, great to hear from you, bad luck there was no wind at Gnaraloo and you're right about not being scary it's just good sailing.
Sorry you only got 4 weeks left but it's warming up and the wind is picking up here.

Hi Rob & Jane, make sure you go check Spot X out too, you've got a 4WD so you'll get in there. Even if it's not windy it's nice to go and look at anyway, bit of an adventure to get in there.
